Distillation & Membrane separating apparatus
This dehydration apparatus is combined of distillation and membrane dehydration. This membrane is made of Zeolite. Ethanol and many solvents make azeotrope mixtures with water, so in most cases used solvents are sent to outsourcing recycling or disposed companies. This apparatus could dehydrate solvents up to 99.9%. It could operate in batch or continuous method.
We have experimented with following substances:
Ethanol, n-propanol, Isopropanol, Acetonitrile, n-butanol, Ethyl acetate, Tetrahydrofuran and Acetone.
